Eckehard (Ecki) Nemitz
is in the chartering business and with the company for more than 30 years, the last 20 years as its managing director. He has successfully developed the company to where it stands today, a reputable broking house well respected amongst all its clients. Chartering business for container vessels of all sizes, dry-bulk tonnage of all kinds as well and Sale & Purchase are amongst his various activities in this industry. He still today considers the chartering industry a most exciting part of his life.

Thomas Gerdau
started shipbroking in the early 70ties in Hamburg but also worked abroad to gain some more experience. Back in Hamburg he has built up a competitive dry cargo chartering department for a local well reputed shipbroking house which he after almost 25 years decided to leave to take up new challenges by opening up his own broking business. This was followed by a position as chartering- and operations manager with a local ship owning company managing a substantial number of multipurpose/container vessels. In 2007 Thomas joined Wehr Transport and is until today responsible for the employment of the group owned container vessels ranging from 1700 up to 5100 TEU in size as well as any kind of sale and purchase related matters.

Anne Nachtigall
completed her apprenticeship at a tanker owning and operating company back in early 1990ies. She worked in different positions in the liner shipping industry and marketing & sales and as personal assistant to the management. She joined Wehr Transport in the year 2000 to support our competitive container chartering team. Anne is in charge for all post fixture and operational matters as well as she is responsible for all business administration and back-up of all database related matters.
